Our PCD Milling Cutter is a face milling cutter that is made of lightweight and high-strength aluminum body.
Its design, developed originally by Chukyo, physically prevents cartridges and inserts from popping out.
It is easy to assemble this cutter because it consists of a small number of components.
High precision and long service life are ensured as the adjusting screw system helps maintain the axial runout of the face cutting edge easily within 10 μm.
We have devised a mounting orientation based on the insert shapes developed originally, increasing rigidity.

  • CAL-MAX/Plus

    Ultra multi-edged cutter, internal lubrication type, face milling, and shoulder milling

    • CAL-MAX/Plus is an ultra multi-edged cutter that is equipped with an internal lubrication system.
    • The lineup includes products whose sizes are equivalent to BT30.

  • CAL-F

    Multi-edged cutter, face milling, and shoulder milling

    • CAL-F is a multi-edged cutter that enables highly efficient machining.
    • The shape of the specially designed chips makes it possible to reduce burrs and perform shoulder milling (at the angle of 87 degrees).
    • A wide range of cutters are available, including small-diameter ones.

  • CAL-F/Plus

    Multi-edged cutter, internal lubrication type, face milling, and shoulder milling

    • Lubricity and cooling effects are enhanced as cutting fluid is injected directly into the edges, which helps reduce wear on this cutter more efficiently.
    • CAL-F/Plus washes away metal swarf with an increased capacity to emit swarf.
    • The processing precision and surface roughness of workpiece materials are improved.

  • CAL-S

    Standard number of edges, and face milling

    • Larger inserts are employed.
    • CAL-S is a standard cutter with excellent rigidity.
    • The shape of the edges prevents this cutter from chipping easily even during the gate processing (sprue, overflow, etc.)
